Chairish Inc., the San Francisco-based parent company of Chairish and Pamono, the design industry’s leading luxury online marketplaces for chic and unique home furnishings, announced today that Canadian shoppers now have access to Chairish’s inventory, including furniture, art, rugs, lighting, decor and more. The launch debuts with an exclusive shoppable collection which features an extensive vintage and contemporary assortment.
Additionally, Chairish announced that it is partnering with The Kairos Collective, a UK-based marketplace for vintage and antique furniture and art. With this move, Chairish Inc. welcomes scores of UK and European dealers to its selling community, adds even more exceptional items to its current inventory, and grows the company’s global audience. In 2022, Chairish Inc.’s inventory reached a record 1 million items.
“The resale home furnishings industry continues to boom, and we are thrilled to be offering design buyers even more choices for exceptional vintage and one-of-a-kind home furnishings from around the world,” said Gregg Brockway, CEO and Co-Founder of Chairish. “The launch of shipping to Canada plus the additional inventory of The Kairos Collective increases our footprint as the global leader in the online resale industry. We’re thrilled to welcome more UK and European dealers to the Chairish family.”
Most recently, Chairish released its second annual Home Furnishings Resale Report revealing that in the US, the resale home furnishings category will grow 29% and reach $22B by 2027, further proving that resale is here to stay. The study also found that European consumers have an affinity for shopping secondhand with over 40% having purchased secondhand in the last year and 47% have said they’re fully comfortable buying resale home furniture.
The Kairos Collective will redirect to Pamono on November 1, and Canadian shoppers can begin purchasing items on Chairish today.
